The present invention relates to the use of food by-products, particularly orange peels, to create a bioplastic made from said orange peel, starch, chitin, and biodegradable activated carbon, considered by the FDA as a GRAS material since said components used with acetic acid are not harmful if consumed. It aims to solve the pollution caused by plastic containers made from by-products based on the petrochemical industry and derived products.
