PROCESO PARA OBTENCION DE QUITOSANO A PARTIR DE EXUMAS DE CHERAX QUADRICARINATUS Y CAMBARELLUS MONTEZUMAE.
The present invention relates to the technical field of organic chemistry, particularly to the technical field of organic macromolecular compounds, and more particularly to the technical field of processes for obtaining chitosan from exuviae of Cherax Quadricarinatus and Cambarellus Montezumae. It aims to establish the extraction method of the existing chitosan in the exuvia thereof, due to the impact that this natural polymer has on the production of plastic products for the industry that requires packaging to cover its products for sale, adapting a specific method for the extraction of the chemical component that considers seven technical steps, unlike other inventions. The said method consists of eliminating free water in the exuvia, the physical characterization of the solid phase, the demineralization, the deproteinization, the solid phase, the deacetylation, and the final physical characteristics thereof. Also, it eliminates the depigmentation phase because it does not affect t he physical features of chitosan, unlike other types of raw materials. The process considers an organic material as a residue in aquaculture crops, obtained naturally with the growth of organisms. Further, the chitosan applies as a polymer for producing bioplastics for industries that require degradable plastics used in the packaging of their products during their marketing.
